Engine Installation. Sometimes it's time for a new engine. Perhaps you're planning a long trip, or perhaps yours has been around for a few years. We'll work with you to ensure a suitable engine is installed.
Propeller Shaft Replacement. A propeller shaft provides the drive from the engine to the propeller. If it's worn out or no longer functioning properly, we can replace or repair it for you. We can also install a bow or stern thruster for greater maneuverability, if desired.

When is the best time to visit you?
You and your boat are welcome year-round at Jachtwerf Oost for engine maintenance. We usually perform maintenance in the early or late season, when the boat is used less frequently. If you schedule your maintenance in the fall, it can be combined with winterizing your boat.

Do you also clean the (diesel) tank of a boat?
Cleaning the gasoline or diesel tank is part of our engine service. Boats have a relatively large tank. As a result, a layer of diesel often remains. This can age, causing a kind of tar layer to form in the tank, potentially clogging filters and resulting in reduced performance. Therefore, it's a good idea to thoroughly clean your tank every so often.
