  • Address details

    It is possible you don't reach your final destination with your navigation system. We advise you to take a look at Google maps in advance.

  • Departure

    We would like to welcome you from 3:00 PM. If you expect to arrive later than 5:00 PM on the day of departure at Akkrum, please report this in advance, we will be present until 5:00 PM.

  • Return

    On the last day of your booking you are expected back at 9:30 am. We then refuel the ship. After that we sail the ship to the box and you can collect your luggage from the ship.

  • Parking

    Parking is free of charge with us. There are cameras in the car park. It is not possible to charge electrically in our car park.

    Unfortunately, we do not always have sufficient parking spaces on our own premises. Upon arrival, would you please indicate where you are parked? We have space across the road at all times, so we may ask you to move your car there after unloading your luggage. This is at most a 2-minute walk away from us.

    There are also two charging stations here if you want to charge your electric car.

  • Identification

    Before departure we have a copy of a valid ID required from the person who made the reservation and from a second person sailing along. Please make sure you have this on hand at the time of checking in.

  • Deposit

    The deposit must be paid before departure. Please pay the deposit in cash to pay, debit card is also allowed, or with an EC card. We unfortunately accept no credit card. You may also find an ATM in the center of Akkrum. Address: Buorren 23-3, 8491 BZ Akkrum.

    If you pay the deposit in cash, it will be settled immediately on your return. If you pay by PIN, the deposit will be returned by bank transfer within 10 working days.

  • Booked accessories

    Check carefully in advance what you have and have not booked. This way you avoid unexpected surprises.

    For example, if you have not booked additional sheets, duvets and pillows, and would you still like to use this? Please let us know, we can still take care of this for you.

  • Staying in Akkrum

    If you would like to stay in Akkrum on the day of arrival, this is always possible. Would you please let us know? That way we can reserve a berth for you with the harbour master.

  • Smoking

    It is not allowed to smoke on our ships, both inside and under the canopy.

  • Wifi/TV

    All our ships are equipped with their own WIFI network (20GB per day) in combination with a Smart TV or a TV with a Chromecast.

    This way you can use the most diverse apps/channels: Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube and other channels. Don't forget to bring your own login codes.

  • Sailing routes

    We have various water maps and sailing routes on board. The ships are very suitable for the Frisian waters. You have almost no limitations of length, width, draft and height.

  • Marrekrite

    There is a Marrekrite pennon on board. This allows you to moor at more than 300 places in nature. For more information: https://www.marrekrite.frl/varen/

  • Bicycles

    We advise you not to take bicycles on board. These are often listed get in the way and damage the ship. If you want to go cycling, you can go to the local bicycle rental company to rent a bicycle.

  • Fishing license

    In most water areas a fishing permit is required to fish, it’s called a VISpas. A VISpas is valid for 1 year. Below you will find the link to easily order a VISpas.

  • Swimming water quality

    The quality of the swimming water is checked every 2 weeks in Friesland. It’s checked at the period from May 1 to October 1.

    They measure whether bacteria and blue-green algae that cause diseases occur in the water can cause. The bathing water quality is published via link below.
